NCsoft Europe exhibits at Memorabilia with ‘Good vs. Evil’
Monday 13 November, 2006NCsoft brings City of Heroes® and City of Villains™ to the NEC
Brighton, England (13th November 2006) - NCsoft® Europe is pleased to announce that it will be exhibiting at the Memorabilia consumer show, at Birmingham’s NEC on 25th and 26th November 2006. NCsoft, the world’s leading developer and publisher of online computer games, will be giving visitors the chance to play their award winning PC titles City of Heroes and City of Villains, as well as other games in the NCsoft range including Guild Wars Nightfall™.
The Memorabilia show is the UK’s longest running and most established event for fans of movies, cult TV, comics and video games. The shows attract a staggering thirty thousand plus visitors a year and are a true celebration of the popular culture genre. There are celebrity guests, competitions and gaming tournaments for attendees to lap up over the two day event.
In addition to being able to play City of Heroes and City of Villains, NCsoft is bringing along two of the signature characters from the games. The heroic Ms. Liberty will be making her first ever public appearance, and her evil arch enemy Ghost Widow will also be haunting the stand. This is a chance in a lifetime for fans to get their photos taken with the ladies themselves.
As if this wasn’t enough excitement for one day, artists from the ‘Draw the World Together’ charity project will also be on hand to recreate your in-game characters on paper! These comic book artists include: John McCrea (Batman, Judge Dredd, Hitman), Phil Winslade (Spiderman, Daredevil), Andrew Wildman (The X-Men, Transformers), Mike Collins (2000AD) along with Jamie Sims, Simon Davis, Dave Taylor and Mark Dos Santos. The guys will be drawing on behalf of the EveryChild charity, details of which are below.
With NCsoft’s biggest ever presence at a UK convention, Memorabilia is easily a must attend event for fans of NCsoft’s City of Heroes and City of Villains, which are currently played all over Europe by comic and games fans alike. The extravagant world of super-powered mayhem will both thrill and excite Memorabilia’s regular attendees as well as newcomers to the show.
