Adding Keys to Existing Game Accounts

How do I add additional access keys to my existing Guild Wars game account?

Answer

If you would like to add additional access keys to your account from within the Guild Wars game client, please follow the instructions provided below:

1. Launch the Guild Wars game client.
2. Click the Create Account or Add Access Key option on the login screen.
3. Click the Add the Access Key to an existing Guild Wars account checkbox.
4. Enter your account e-mail address and password, followed by the Next> button.
5. Enter your new access key, followed by the Next> button.
6. Click the Next> button to accept the addition of your access key.

If your Guild Wars game account was created on or is integrated into your PlayNC master account and you would like to add additional access keys to your account from within your PlayNC master account, please follow the instructions provided below:

1. Log into PlayNC Account Management.
2. Click the Use a Serial Code link.
3. If you purchased your new access key from the PlayNC Store, select it from the Purchased Codes section and skip to Step 5. If you instead purchased it from a retailer and received a game box, select the A Guild Wars Key (25 digits) option.
4. Type in the access key in the spaces provided.
5. Click the CONTINUE button.
6. Locate the account you wish to upgrade and click the UPGRADE ACCOUNT button.

If you made a purchase through the Official Guild Wars Store in-game, the access key was automatically applied to the account where the purchase was made. You do not need to enter the access key with either of the options above. You can verify the key was correctly applied to your account by accessing the View Content Rights page in your game account.
